WENDY - Occitanie (SOUTH WEST FRANCE)
Wendy is passionate to share the many photographic opportunities to be captured in the South-West corner of France. Wendy and her husband, and chef, Simon chose to open a new Bed & Breakfast, offering evening meals, in a beautiful area surrounded by vineyards and nature. Coupled with the astounding tourism sites of Carcassonne, Minerve, Lagrasse, Abbaye de Fontfroide, the Canal du Midi and the beaches of the Mediterranean are not too far away which make great holiday combinations.
Wendy’s walks with Loki, her dalmatian, provide her with superbly scenic landscapes, sunrises and sunsets and to the other end of the spectrum, amazing macro shots of the local flora and fauna which include shots of mushrooms, flowers, insects and butterflies. It is so convenient to carry your mobile, a pocket-sized camera to snap at any opportunity. When you stay with Wendy you could have a different Safari each day, as you explore and capture medieval cities and castles, the calm river reflecting like a mirror and those amazing close-up macro shots.
As a teacher with a very creative side, her passion is to share what she knows, especially tips on how to get the very best out of the smartphone in your pocket. Her sessions begin with discovering some useful settings in your phone, which will enhance your photo shots on location. After one of her Smartphone Safaris you’ll also be shown some useful editing techniques. If you need some inspiration or a guidance to market your business on social media, Wendy can also share with you, some top tips too!
