We are over the moon to be teaming up with Kew Gardens this March for a botanical spectacular of smartphone photography! During the session, we will be getting up close to the tropical plants in the iconic Palm House, the grand trees of the Arboretum and much much more. There’s every type of landscape to immerse yourself in at Kew and our safari will help develop your smartphone camera skills at the same time.
Through the two hour session, you will learn about the basics of smartphone photography, including composition, lighting and editing, that can be applied to any make or model of smartphone. We will look at composing beautiful nature shots, get into the details with close-up macro photography and learning how to use natural light to enhance your images. At the end of the session, we will spend a bit of time learning about the free editing tools and apps that you can use to give that professional finish to your photos from the day.
Jet will only be running two sessions at Kew on Wednesday 23rd March, at 10:30am and 2pm, so book now through the Kew Garden’s website to avoid disappointment. Tickets include a day’s entry to Kew Gardens, so why not plan a full visit and use your newfound photography skills throughout the stunning gardens?
The sessions are suitable for anyone 8 years and above with a reasonable level of fitness. All areas we visit are also wheelchair accessible. We will be both inside and outdoors, so remember to dress appropriately for March weather!
