With the use of smartphone cameras now the norm, it is estimated that, on average, each person takes 3 photos a day. For many though that figure is much more, especially on special occasions. With the end of the school year approaching and summer holidays on the horizon, many of you will be snapping up lots of memories. But while we may share these pics with friends and family on social media, we often forget to create a lasting album to look back on.
There’s a wealth of companies out there offering great quality and easy to use apps, letting you get creative and keep those memories in a beautiful photo book. Here, we look at some of the best photo book apps out there that let you design straight from your smartphone.

This app offers a large number of layout options to create a personalised photo book and it is very easy to access and search through your images. You do need to take out a subscription of £1.99 a month, which gives you 50 6x4” prints for free with the fee covering P&P.
